Before you write this off as me crying or complaining, please understand I'm not mad but just want to give feedback to this new system.

So I have been playing league since Season 1 and I have maybe afk'ed or left a game intentionally roughly 5 times. All of which I have had a very valid reason of a urgent real life situation, or the game lasted over an hour and I needed to leave for work, sorry, I love league but real life is more important.

Recently in a match we were getting crushed very badly, meh it happens, but two players on my team were extremely toxic and the Trist ended up following the trolling riven around taking cs, resulting in both of them afking in fountain (but moving to prevent afk detection), the enemy team was not working to end the game and was just farming kills. Both Trist and Riven would not vote yes to surrender therefor this match was lasting far too long, we could not even leave the base. When I die I would alt tab and was reading some sport articles. I got caught up reading and I guess I had not moved in a few mins and received a notice saying if I was afk I would be kicked from the match. So I returned without being kicked and finished the game. After match I get a new message saying I must agree to never leave another game or I would be banned..Ok well I didn't leave but sure I don't intend to afk in the future.

The next day I am on Skype duoing with my buddy; right as we enter loading screen my power goes out (I guess it was getting windy out side) thankfully the power comes back on about 1 min later. So I restart my PC and re open league. For some odd reason league client felt the need to "recalculate differences" of over 2,000 files which took 20 minutes, before I could log in. Luckily I was back on Skype and my duo friend and team were aware of my situation and actually managed to pull very far ahead and they knew I was coming back and all was ok. Finally I get in 25 mins late and farm to catch up and we still win, yay! I say sorry to my team and they say np man all is good. I log on today to find that I have received a 35 game ranked ban, and am forced to not only play but WIN 35 normal draft games.

Normal draft has become a very terrible place, I have intentional trolls in almost all games and people are extremely abusive. I have a job and real life things to deal with, I do not have TIME to not only play but WIN 35 games. If I have a 50% win rate I'm going to be forced to play 70 games that count for nothing. I only get to play 2-3 games a day. This to me is the equivalent of a 30 day ban. I would actually prefer to just be out right banned for 35 days and return to play ranked then, instead I now have to spend the next month playing for "fun" (not ranked) with the most toxic players in the community which is anything but fun.

I hope in the future and with more feedback Riot can find a better punishment system than the one the LeaverBuster currently uses :/

SHORT VERSION: Afk for 5 mins but not leave game + one power outage (still return and win match) = An unreasonable and unusual punishment.
