How about you be grateful that the money they've made off of us they've put back into getting newer up-to-date servers for all of us?

You've been complaining about this for years "Rito fix your servers plz"

Granted, there were times when it wasn't the fault of their servers but it was the fault of say, lizard squad, or their ISP, or their ISP's ISP. But now they're finally doing what you've been asking for years. Please, grow up and be grateful.

They've encountered hardware issues, major ones greatly slowing the process. They're trying to fix it. They want to make sure that when they launch the servers again they do it right and things are ready. They're trying to do right by us.

Thank you Riot for everything you do for your players.

So we should be grateful for the fact that despite this game being about 5+ years old Riot finally decided to upgrade their servers which have been a HUGE problem for most people for this game. This is Riots only game they have no other income if they didnt change/upgrade things every single one of these people would be out of a job. we shouldnt be grateful for anything since they are the ones who rely on us for their income! if anything its a two way street with this. They make/upgrade/update their game and in exchange if we like the product in which they have created we will return their services with money! its how every business works. They should have done this, and hopefully will continue to do this since day one. this game has changed a lot since it came out of Beta and yet they think that only now was the right time to change!

Servers are back up. Took all the time to type this out and didn't refresh client to update :)

Nobody that I can see is complaining about the down time, but rather the fact that they have been saying "an hour" for like 9. Also, this is not going to fix any of the issues that people are complaining about lol. I am not sure what they are even trying to fix here, but I know it has nothing to do with players on the east coast and those are the ones that are complaining about it lol.

Oh i love this, the irony, didn't even realize til you say this. Cause all I hear in game is (OMG LAG RIOT NEEDS TO FIX THEIR SERVERS JESUS FUCK!!!) (why of course I usally play with no problems).

THEN, when the take the time needed to fix the servers its all "QQ OMFG STOP FIXING YOUR SERVERS AND LET ME FUCKING PLAY, I DONT CARE BOUT LAG NO MO"

PS. SERVERS ARE NOW UP TO THOSE STILL BITCHING!

Ryntak, you big dummy. Have you ever heard of Customer Service? The vast majority of the flaming and contempt of these Rioteers could have been diverted with updates to the customers. 4 hour/late updates are trash. I quit for almost a year because of runny nosed brats, this is just a slap in the face to an Adult.

They are not updating hardware, our money isn't being spent on that at all. They are simply implementing the pre season patch and fixing the thousands of bugs they made by further breaking their already broken game. don't fret tho, champions that don't even need updates are getting them!

Are they finally making an east coast server? Cuz otherwise, they can upgrade all they want, but my signal still has to travel across the whole fucking U.S. to register that I moved and oh too late I already got killed.
