i dont even think skill helps any more in bronze/silver

Nah, skill helps a lot. There's games you won't win, but if you're better than the middle player in your games, then statistically you will climb. Let's say there's always 3 great players in most games. In that case, if you're one of them, it's a 2/3 chance that you'll win the game (the reason it's not 50/50 is because this is mathematically the same as the 3 door logical problem), and those 2/3 will add up. Just keep playing to improve, as you improve, you'll win naturally.

I don't understand. Skill matters at all divisions. If your point is that "my team is awful, no matter what I do, they ruin it," you need to realize that the enemy is around the same skill level as yours. If you play well enough, you'll be able to climb out. Besides, the higher divisions are harder to climb, so it's not like it will get any easier without improvement.

Have to be extremely good and be fed every game in order to climb. If you can't...
