As a Silver can you play against Platinium?
This guy was Plat V, 0 LP but I believed you could only play with up to Gold players. Can't recall correctly. Anyone?

no, you can play with people of any rank is a custom or norms
As a Gold player I've played with Diamonds. It happens.
if the silver or the plat player are a part of a duo/trio etc group going into the game. I think it is possible.
obviously they wouldn't be able to que up together.
It couldn't have been a ranked game because if you are silver, you can only get matched against bronze, silver, and/or gold regardless of it's a premade or not. The only way a silver could be matched against a plat is if it was norms or custom.
You can only duo with them yes but the matchmaking is so horrendous that you can actually get people that you cant que with in your game. Sick shit huh?
Yep. Indeed I can't invite Plat players, but I can be matched with them.
