Game lags and says my firewall wont allow lol through and it counts as a leave?

In my game I dced randomly after having 500 ping when I reconnected everyone was level 1 and i couldn't move or anything. I went and restarted my computer and when I tried to open the client it said my firewall wouldn't allow it through even though when I checked it was. Then after 10 min of this nonsense It finally allows me to get back on and I recieved the loss not suprised but it also counted as a leave. Now i'm sure one leave doesn't really matter but it still makes me mad that I get a leave when I didn't leave on purpose even though the LOL client thinks I did. This happened before as well during these 2 plus weeks of server hell and someone from that game said the same thing happened to him. This never happened to me before season 4 so I don't believe it is on my end but can anyone tell me why this would happen? I just don't like it when I can't move so I go and try to fix it but I still probably got reported by my teammates and the leave wont help either. Thanks.

The firewall message is generic for basically anything that involves not being able to connect to Riot. For the past few weeks now there have been an insane amount of DDoS attacks in the central US that is affecting the ISPs that Riot uses which in turn is causing a lot of problems. If you are on the East Coast especially. I've now reached the point where I can't even play my main due to not wanting to ruin my rank, and have been temp banned on 2 alts due to uncontrollable DCs.

My advice, find a new game to play for a while -,-

As for the loss, yeah sorry, that's what happens with dc's, but leaverbuster (from what I understand) is tuned to take the occasional dc into account, so as long as this doesn't happen often (don't count the last 2 weeks) you'll be fine.

ok so for some reason I cant create a thread on the new forums but I can respond to things, and I feel like this fits here so here goes. During the recent ddos lag spikes for NA a lot of people are dcing from games. When the game ends, some people get stuck in those games and try to leave with alt f4, relog, but surprise it wants you to reconnect, and if you hit x, you can get a time penalty from leaverbuster. I've heard of this happening to multiple people and it almost happened to me today, (luckily a game invite allowed me to leave the reconnect screen by going to the lobby). Riot can you pls add a disable for leaverbuster during ddos so that this frustrating side-effect doesn't leave players time-banned? Also can riot make it so can create threads again lol?
