If you happen to be a support, don't pick A-Sol.
Because he's useless and always makes you go 0/10.
If you're playing mid, whatever, as long as it ain't in my bot lane.
But seriously, stop going support as A-Sol.
You're ruining the game for your whole team. ;)

If you want to manage what your team's support is then play support yourself. Personally I have had no problems with Aurelion supports.

disregardable2 votesThis is true for solo lanes. Bot lane is not a solo lane. The ADC cannot only worry about himself- he is dependent on his support to help him. The ADC does not deserve to have any chance of impacting the game taken away from him because his support wants to troll.
The same is true for the support, although it's much easier to take non-meta champions into the carry role, because mostly they'll be able to kill the enemy adc and scale with gold.

All five members of the team have to work together, not just the ADC and support, so everyone does have to concern themselves with the rest to some respect, but that does not give anyone the right to dictate what is acceptable in any given role.
It's a two way street. If the support wants to do something non-meta (heavy roaming, kill lane, and the like) they have to inform their ADC. Likewise the ADC should plan accordingly. If your support will be spending a lot of time out of lane you shouldn't play an ADC that requires a constant bodyguard. If you cannot do this inform your support so that they can also plan accordingly.
However it is not the right of the ADC to tell the support who or how to play. One does not get to dictate to the other.

Stuper Sconed1 votesA Sol has been solid for me, sitting at 70 % win rate in about 40 games or so now, I play him mostly jungle, Tried some MID, and have done some Support. Sol sucks at mid, but jungle and support he is great.
