i'm a support main. so of course i'm ALWAYS guaranteed my role. that little thing means nothing to me.

This confuses me because I thought one was already guaranteed to get one of the two roles one selects?

if you fill or play support, frequently, when you are going to que up there is a little icon next to the que up button. the title of this post is what it tells you when you hover the little icon.

I know what you are talking about, I main support, too. But it confuses me why this icon even shows up because I thought one was already guaranteed to get one of the roles one choses

You can get autofilled in norms if your mmr is high enough. and in week day mornings with low player trafic.

I never knew that... I thought the whole point of the system was to get the role you chose. Thanks!

It is really only there to save you from 20 minute queues in higher mmrs. Though I would rather play with bronze and silver than get another role.
