What the fuck are you supposed to do when your team suddenly starts ignoring you?

Like, specifically when you're doing some basic shot calls.

Like:

win skirmish bot lane, take turret

Jinx : Now what? Bot is pushed out.

Leona Me: Get drag and/or head mid to take turret.

eventually take mid

15ish minutes in

Leona Me: Alright guys, let's go top and take that turret so we have more vision control.

Suddenly the team just stops ignoring me. People start going wherever doing fuck all like "gg, we won already, they'll ff@20." About 20 minutes in, everyone's mid, we've pushed it up to inhibitor turret.

Leona Me: Seriously guys, we can't siege them this early, let's just go top and take the turret to baron later.

everyone starts walking to top lane

Nunu suddenly pings for a 20-minutes Baron and everyone turns around while I'm top

Leona Me: Why the fuck are you guys doing Baron? We don't need it. They'll kill us if they show up right now.

I start walking down because a team divided is a team fallen

Lo and behold, enemy team shows up, STEALS baron, and aces us

Leona Me: Why the fuck didn't you guys listen to me? Top turret was an easy objective to take.

Pantheon Jinx : Dude just calm down.

Leona Me: I'm not gonna calm down, this evened up the entire game, it's a huge ass throw, someone explain to me why we did a stupid 20 minute Baron instead of easy top turret.

Nunu : Mute Leona.

And no one listens to me for the rest of the game.

We just lose after that.

It just doesn't make any sense. The team was winning with me shot calling and doing my shit as Leona, why just suddenly stop doing that? Did people just become averse to winning or something just because I felt like doing some shot calling for a bit?

Done venting a little bit, 3-game losing streak + demotion because our jungler didn't take smite one game and enemy midlaner got fed in another. Losing because of stupid reasons beyond my control pisses me off.

Yup, that's silver. The dumping ground of MMR defaulted new accounts, making it a wasteland of players that are literally worse than their lower ranked counterparts in almost every way concerning the desire to win.

the players community is not very approving of in game tips and communication in general, especially in lower elo. Everybody has his own point of view of how things should go and hardly tolerates second opinion. Its also often that second opinion is aggressively given or often unworthy, which shapes a general feeling in the majority to put any opinion under that category. What to do when ppl dont listen you? Well dont expect them to listen you and adjust to what they do. Dont focus on objectives you want and think are the right, no matter if they are, just play with your team. That way you have much higher chance to win those objectives. Going despite ur team, even if you are the right, is a loosing approach.

Just go with the flow and accept it if it's a loss. Shit happens, people don't always listen, and the more you try to persuade them the more they will do the opposite.

I'm one of those people that if you spam ping or try to tell me what to do, I'm probably going to go do wolves and start split pushing only to spite you.
