Nah it's probably not irony, when you treat your customers like garbage with this "grind for months to even play the game properly" mechanic which is not present in any good competitor MOBA game out there, they'll lap up any small bone you throw them. "Yes let's discount all the cheap ones that everyone buys first because it's the standard", man riot so generous... Not.

But they'll keep getting ripped off contently, League of Legends is the Justin Beiber of video games. Enjoy your next 30 champs with a passive that procs every 3 hits and a dash or 5, oh man will it be % health true damage this time? Find out in a couple months!

Awww yeah all the cheap ones woop woop!!! Not a single 800 rune or 2000 quint.

Plus it doesn't change the fact that runes are a garbage mechanic that simply serves as a tax you must pay to play at any reasonable level.

It's really good but I wish it included movement speed and health per level runes, too. Still missing some of those. item 3070

Those are quite particular runes though for quite a niche amount of champions but I do agree about health runes.
