How the game increased my toxicity.

So, I was permabanned. I knew that would eventually become the price I'd pay. Actually kinda glad I've been waiting a long time to post my opinion on the punishment system but didn't want to draw attention to my account. However, I don't want pity or forgiveness. This is just my unique insight as a toxic player to help riot.

I might have started by afking maybe 2-5% of games because I didn't want to listen to my toxic team mates. Before the punishment changes this would punish me with an hour, or up to a day where I couldn't play league. No big, and it also let me cool down and un-tilt. Just to be clear, I did this for 3 years without ever intentional feeding. Less then 1/20 games I left because my team or the situation was too aggravating for me and I didn't want to escalate it any further.

Then the punishment for afking became an automatic 20 minute penalty before your next 5 matches. Worse, if you missed the accept button the last 20 minutes waiting meant nothing. So I decided by feeding for 20 minutes I'd be getting a much less harsh penalty. So, I would feed for 20 minutes, full tilt, then go right into my next game tilting further and further. I ended up feeding around 15-25% of games intentionally from afking 2-5%. Do you see what a drastic change that is?

I honestly don't care what anyone thinks, I have no remorse, and I think it was worth it. In fact I started to enjoy it.

But I'm not so simple, because I do want to help league. Believe it or not, I do love the game of league, even if my I'm willing to let my arguments escalate to no end. As a toxic player I believe I have insight from the inside of a toxic players mind.....

Your bans don't target the times a player is tilted, in fact they exacerbate tilt at times. If I have to wait 20 minutes for a game and my team sucks I'm going to be exponentially pissed about it. If I'm chat restricted for 200 games then a player says even just "thanks" sarcatically to me when hes the one who's trash I'm extra pissed he can argue his side and I can't.

So my TLDR is this: You should adopt a "micro-ban" system focused right after the sign of toxicity. Toxic players are simply tilted players. It should be based off of PLAYER reports immediately. I intentionally fed over 100 games, tilting, then playing another to only become more tilted, and sometimes continuing this trend. This is why players need the power to do this through reports, to stop chains of toxic games. Microbanning HAS to be done immediately after the toxic event and only other players can do that quickly enough. Consider it tribunal 2.0.

That's odd. The system made me less toxic because it made me more aware of what kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I simply improved the attitude I expressed openly to other players. Not sure how you got more toxic when you are told people don't like how you act.

You would tell a toxic player to swallow their pride but then not swallow your own. Do I understand the punishment system and toxic behavior more then you do or ever will? Probably, but you're too prideful to accept my help.

Irony is a beautiful thing. I only wish I could share what I know of it.
