Heck I play with girls and all we talk about on Skype / Discord is where to ward, enemy is missing, and plan strategies while in-game. But hey, this is ultimately your choice and I respect whatever you decide :)

i do have a couple of guy friends who don't make me feel awkward. but i would also like some female friends. haven't had a female irl friend in 2 years or one on league in 1 year.

well in the past two days i've had random guys tell me "i love you" '"i'll make love to you like nobody ever has before" i can't deal with that. i celebrated my 2 years with my boyfriend yesterday but when i respond with that they tend to respond with "just bc there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score." even had 1 guy join my stream and say "i can see you're having trouble. i'll boost you for nudes." besides my boyfriend i have 2 mutual guy friends we play with.

PalPlays6 votesThat's TERRIBLE! I dearly hope that you reported the three latter comments. It's no wonder that female players are afraid to come out of their shell. In Overwatch, there's a girl that I play with from time to time that I met randomly through the voice chat. She's nice enough, and we play rather well together. Still, I was surprised that initiated the acquaintanceship by shotcalling on voice just due to the negative responses she could have gotten. I guess the moral of the story is that you should be careful of bending to the will of immature men on the internet by trying to avoid them altogether. That's what they want. Forgive them, focus on the mature guys that hear that you're a gamer girl and still like you for you, not your gender.
