I noticed in the shop that there is the codes tab bar. Now, I know that refers to Riot Point cards bought from a store instead of the online transaction. However, I was wondering if Riot also provided codes (non-expired/free) for skins or points? If so, does that happen during tournaments or special events or what....? Just wanna know so I can be on the lookout for some fancy skins for champs =D. If not, well shoot. =(

I have heard, and read that during events like PAX they have handed out skins... Never been to one though

There are three free codes the Riot gives to all summoners who do the following.

Subscribe to League Of Legends Youtube channel = Unchained Alister champion and skin. Follow League of Legends Twitter feed = Dreadknight Garen champion and skin. Like League of Legends Facebook page = Riot Girl Tristana champion and skin.
