Every time I watch Dyrus he's losing...
But he's ranked 5th in Challenger .... what am I missing?!?

The fact that you can't figure it out is pretty revealing.
One is solo queue, where personal capability rules.
The other is professional team 5s, where he often get's thrown under the bus when it comes to assistance from his allies because they know he can come back and be useful mid/late game.
