Trolling in ranked games, A concern I epxress for Riot.
Riot, I've had fucking enough. You have GOT to do something about this bullshit. We used to have a system in place to catch these players and punish them and weed them out called Tribunal. Now we have nothing. Its the one thing, for almost 5 years now, that I have consistently complained about and you are doing NOTHING about it. That needs to change now.
No, I am not talking about verbal abuse, A) I never cared about that in first place, I have a mute button, B) the ragers might still play hard. No, I am not talking about intentionally feeding. Those players get their due too, and we have a new system in place to detect and punish them. What I am talking about is players who, for SOME REASON, decide at 25 minutes that it would be more fun to ruin the game for the team than to finish it out and get a win. The players who intentionally state they will refuse to cooperate with the team for any reason, players who decide to mindless sit in a lane doing nothing worthwhile while the rest of the two teams engage in 4v5 battles over contested objectives. Players who decide its not worth it get a win no matter how huge your teams lead is and decide it would be better to simply troll the rest of the time away and cause as much grief and misery for their teammates as is possible in the time left. These players are habitual. They do it often. They need to go.
And what about trolling in lobby select? I have one guy, who EVERY game he sees me, he will ban my 3 man champs with bans. NO MATTER WHAT. He will do this, I no longer even play with him. I have to dodge everytime I see him in my lobby because he will throw the game on purpose if hes not first pick and in charge of bans, and even then he's liable to simply troll me for fun. This ALSO has GOT to go. You CANNOT continue to condone these types of behaviors. It is what creates a toxic environment. It causes people to become upset and this carries over in a trickle down effect for several games after. I actually have to STOP playing today because I am SO pissed off about this last game where we had a 15k gold lead, an inhib down and a baron buff on and we cant make a final push to close the game out when we have double the enemy team kills because we had one fucking douchebag who decided we should not win and actively had been trolling for 10 minutes already.
This is what you need to concentrate on eliminating, THIS type of thing. We don't need more skins, we don't need more automated systems, we NEED a way to eliminate trolls from trolling games and causing widespread grief. Your systems currently in place don't even touch them, I have to send in support tickets on a regular basis just to get them reported to some one. As long as you allow trolls to run free over the rest of the community this will always be a hell hole. Enough is enough, give them notice and get them the hell out of here.
TLDR: Trolls need to be banned. Permanently.
