Something needs to be done about champion select.

So me and my friend were going into a draft pick game, when out of the blue, first pick bans Ryze, Rengar and Urgot without saying anything.

Very shortly after, he speaks.

"Hello %%%%%%s, i'll be feeding!"

He then instalocks Jinx Jungle. Everyone in the lobby is asking someone else to dodge, and eventually my friend takes the plunge and closes the client.

Why can't we have some way of reporting people in champ select or voting to dodge a queue? Because now my friend has to deal with Leaverbuster and this fucker gets a get out of low-priority-queue free card! Because its either queue dodge or waste 30 minutes of my life with a troll feeder, why do we get punished for dodging in situations like this?

i think a great system would be if 4 people want to dodge, the game is dodged. no penalty much like a surrender vote would be called. now i dont know if a huge group of trolls would abuse this or not, but it should totally be attempted in PBE to see how well it works

I play mostly normal draft right now and I have never seen more ragers, feeders, afk'ers, and trolls than I have recently. I don't know if it's because of ranked restrictions or what but it's been overwhelming.

A lot of times the raging/toxicity begins in champ select and you only want to dodge so many times. As far as I can tell Riot only does stuff about naughty language while the myriad of truly disruptive behaviors go ignored and unpunished.

I simply screenshot fuckers like this, and send in a ticket.

If riot won't make an ingame report option, I'll tie up their customer support so that at least they have a report of the issue.

Tends to be more powerful I find when it goes directly to riot like this.

This is not a champ select problem it is a toxic player problem. Picking Jinx Jungle is not a punishable offence, neither is making poor ban picks.

That moment when...

Everyone in the lobby is asking someone else to dodge

Riot adamantly and desperately pleas for everyone to "Just be nice to each other" because they know their current punishments system is horrendously flawed and blatantly favors the trolls.

Seriously, the troll has literally 100% of the power on a game-to-game basis. If you decide you want to troll a game, you have near-absolute power over whether or not your team has a smidgen of a chance of winning. Because Riot would rather pretend hugs and hippie free love are a better solution than iron fist destruction of every troll's chance of playing League. Ban account -> block IP -> shut out MAC address. Tada, all but the most determined of douchewads are gone.

There's no way to "fix" people ruining a particular game other than them acknowledging some trial-and-error to develop a successful 4v5 system, but they sure could do a hell of a lot more to prevent them if they'd stop pretending that every douchebag in the world cares enough about anyone but themselves enough to reform from being a douchebag.
