I was wrecking face with zac prior to this.. Not saying elo hell is a thing but come on....

I dunno just feel the need to vent my frustrations... I've gone from a 78% winrate down to a 61% winrate.... in about 24 hours... regardless of how well I performed during a match...

Just kinda sucks that I was telling people there was no elo hell and then this. is a bitch. edit I need someone to bitch at me and tell me I'm bad or the opposite. == Because I honestly don't know what to think at this point.

Matchmaking will constantly try to adjust so that your win rate is around 50%.

Now, there are two main attributes to Elo Hell:

Trolls, ragers, afks, and the like.
The inability to climb/carry.

As to point 1, this happens at every rank. Sometimes it happens more, sometimes it happens less. As human beings we are more likely to remember the bad.

Point 2, however, is the real key. When your win ratio finally stabilizes at 50% you may find it very difficult to climb. This is supposed to happen. Some people simply cannot accept that they are at their skill level in ranked, and would rather use Elo Hell as a blaming crutch than focus on what they need to do to improve. This makes the term Elo Hell far more applicable to the mindset that leads to this sort of blaming.

Basically if you focus on yourself and work to improve rather than blaming some mystical Elo Hell then Elo Hell won't effect you.
