The victim complex.

Does everyone on this game have one? It seems to me Riot is endorsing a new era of players who are essentially victims in EVERYTHING they do on this video game.

If they're toxic? It's not their fault - it's their team or YOUR fault.

If they do bad? It's the team's fault. Or the junglers fault.

And Riot is fine with this. Give them a report function to abuse and bam, there you have it. The worst game in the world (with a decent fanbase) and instead of actually developing a community of mature, competent gamers? They've enabled a community of toxic "victims" who use any and EVERY excuse imaginable to mash the report button.

And it doesn't even HAVE to be that way. You can easily remove the report function, add in some mature features and separate the community by what they want. Or add a REMOVE CHAT function for everyone so nobody has to read or put up with that shit.

Reports are looked into, and if players are being falsely reported by these kinds of players, they wont actually face punishment. Funny that- you wont be punished if you do nothing wrong. If for some reason a punishment comes through and you believe you are innocent, you are able to appeal your case through player support.

The report function is so important in lessening the impact of truly toxic players, some that you will probably have encountered yourself.

I agree with one point, that so many players are stuck playing the blame game.
