Losing streak, how to raise my MMR?

I've been in a losing streaks for a few weeks. I'm playing duo on evening, and a few solo games during the day. Losing almost every time in both situations. Concretely, my question is: how to raise my MMR?

I asked Riot this question, their answer was: keep winning your games. Seriously? What do you think I'm trying to do? Dancing with blue golem as Popstar Ahri? summoner 30 Ahri summoner 30

No need to tell me about farming, vision, map awareness, objectives instead of chasing kills, proper build, etc, I know all this. And I apply these methods ingame. So I don't know what the issue is. I'm not that future challenger player of course, but the level during my LoL games is so low and frustrating that I'm not having fun anymore, while I love the game itself. Most of time, I get matched with people of a clearly lower level than me: no flaming here, and I don't talk about divisions, I'm talking about their actions in game. (I'm really hoping you won't see me as a flamer here, that not intended)

Is their a secret tip that I don't know and would make me win my games? haha No seriously, am I missing something important? I reached Silver 1 before, lost promo to Gold. But since I went down to Silver 5 and I'm pretty stuck. I know I won't be matched with "better" players until my MMR is higher, but I can't figure out how to do so. Even when I lose, what I did during the game, doesn't it count to adjust the MMR?

The answer is actually to win matches. That is literally the only way to increase mmr. Now, you could increase the difference between your rank and mmr if v you wantes, which would increase your LP gains until your rank matched your mmr again. Just dodge every game till you aRE negative , 10k lp

I'm not drunk or something but I don't understand then end of your comment. You want me to dodge for... for what?

You have ~ Bronze 2 MMR atm, so you're probably going to continue struggling for a bit until you either improve your play or get demoted.

There's no secret to increasing your MMR, it is based on your skill level. Try to find areas in your gameplay that you are struggling with, and improve upon them. You can always view your replays at replay.gg and watch how you play. Perhaps you'll see something that you wouldn't have noticed during the game.

I record my games with LSI and watch them afterwards. It happens that I take a bad decision sometimes, like not ganking, start a drake too fast or anything, but overall I quite know what I'm doing.

My "skill level". Okay, fine. I can farm, build properly, ward/ unward, roam for help, push/ freeze when needed, I play every role, will focus objectives instead of chasing kills, etc. Plus I have my mate with me: I'm mostly playing assassin's, and he's always with Jax, Xin or Vi, or bot with me. I don't understand how we keep losing that much.

As you can see I have a large amount of games behind me, so I think I know how this game works. Though, I can't climb. I don't get it. Sorry if I sound rude here, just tired. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

You don't sound rude I was just giving my opinion. If you look on op.gg you can see your MMR is well below the average for Silver V so it's not surprising you are having trouble climbing. You are likely losing more LP for a loss than you are gaining for a win atm, which will always make climbing difficult.

A few things I notice when looking at your last 20 games played. You bought 5 pink wards in those 20 games, and have never once switched to the blue trinket. This leads me to believe you do not value vision very highly or prioritize it. Working on getting and maintaining better vision will likely help you out.

You've got a number of games with a lot of kills but also a lot of deaths, which suggests you might value trading kills a little too highly.

These could be off, it's hard to say I can't see your games only your match history. But your warding definitely needs some work. Better vision makes a number of things easier, such as rotating, making picks, evaluating when it is good/not good to engage in a fight, and just generally making good decisions.

Anyway good luck!
