Promotion series.

Most players have a role that they can carry when they play it and other roles they play normal and need a good team to win with it . So something always happen that you get your role for 3 games in a row and win then you get into a promotion series where you are late pick and you lose your role with actually most of players are noobs not just saying my team but like i said i lost my role. So usually i would deal with that noob team by carrying if i got my role . But i lost it because i was late pick and my team was like 180 degree different from teams i had the last 3 matches.

SO my question is. Does riot put you in bad match ups during your promotion series on purpose to see if you are worthy to be promoted ? xD :P
