Maokai patch 7.9 reworked sapling toss.

Just wanna know what's the point of nerfing Sapling toss base damage to 140 from 240 , removing ap flat scale just to add the 8% max hp damage and an ap scale to it that was taken from his -W- which now does flat damage and has ap scale just like how Sap toss was.

So now with Sap toss you nearly deal the same damage you used to do without any ap. but if you choose to play AP just for the Sap toss. it wont be worth any more. cause with 400 ap u will be getting 50% more damage to each Sap while you could get 100% more damage with the old one.

Why did they just exchange his W and E scales ? was sitting in a brush for 2 min waiting for someone to 1 shot with Sap toss too op ? Did that just carry games ? . if the change was only for his E i would see it. but they just exchanged the stats and gave E a nice start for any combo.

I might be just paranoid because Riot have been nerfing every Out of meta troll play style every existed even if it doesn't carry games ...

I know you can still 1 shot people with E but now you don't need to get AP to do it. so it's going to be a normal build path. where you go tank with magic penetration . maybe a 100 ap . If you gonna depend on E damage you don't need to go full ap any more . you can go full tank with magic pen and deal alot of damage but still not like it was before . Now you deal more damage with your W as AP . but i wont depend on my W as full ap Maokai
