I'm saving up for a rune page sale. Am I making a mistake?

I currently have 10 rune pages. I expected toward either end of this season/beginning of next season that there will be a 2 for 1 rune page sale so I can get the rune pages I've been wanting now. Recent posts have made it seem like there's something big coming to runes soon.

If a Rioter could tell me "save it" or "spend it on champs" or "spend it on the runes and not the pages" so I don't feel super cucked if the rune page sale doesn't happen.

Last one was in May, and before that was January.

Also, side note, I'm curious if there are any rioters that browse go on the league general on /vg/ when they're not waifuposting they're actually pretty hilarious.
