I know this is a long-standing issue, ever since ARAM wasn't even a legit game mode... but I've ran into this so many damn times today that I'm fed up with it.

I absolutely HATE IT when you queue up, someone rolls a champ they don't like, then they dodge. Like, seriously, come on. The point of the goddamn game mode is to play a random champion, not to play who the hell you WANT to play in a scenario where there's constant teamfights. Riot even went out of their way to introduce the re-roll system to try and sate those people... but I guess that's just not good enough? They can't stand playing a few games as randoms just to get those rolls back?

All in all, there HAS to be a way to make LeaverBuster catch people who dodge queues, not just people who drop from games. Put them all in a pool of people who constantly dodge. See how they like getting someone good, or having a good team comp in Ranked, and then having someone pissy leave because they didn't get mid.

Queue dodgers are a pain, but putting them in a pool of only dodgers just perpetuates the cycle instead of fixing it, and creates a small community of people who hate each other and the game and will take it out on people in the other modes, other games, and even irl.

If anything, more strict punishments in the form of higher queue restriction times would be adequate to prevent more dodging.

Incentives to people who never dodge could work as well; i.e. extra rerolls and IP boosts.

While I don't like the tone of your post, I agree with the sentiment. The point of ARAM is to have fun playing champs you might not usually play, not to dodge and reroll until you get blatantly OP champs and can faceroll.

We all know Champion Select screen weighs a lot more in All Random pick (and Draft Pick) than in Blind Pick, so dodging a queue is not only a disrespectful behavior, but also a foul trick to win (Ranked games already punish dodgers for this "trick" by taking some LP).

In addition to your idea, a better ARAM game-balance can solve this problem by preventing players from considering the rolled champions underpowered. It's really difficult, but what actually I wish to see... because it also solves "ARAM-only accounts vs all-champ accounts" thingy.

If you dodge queue, you start out with a five minute wait timer. Next dodge I believe is 15 minutes. Trust me, it sucks.
