Why play league anymore?

In about the last 20 games I have played, some ranked some not, there as been 1 or more extremely toxic players. Countless times I have been told I have autism, I should go back to bots, I should kill myself, I am a "baddie", I won't talk to you "until you get good", and all the while, those people ask the other team to report me 99% of the time. This is what I have heard low bronze behavior is like, and for obvious reason. I am in Platinum elo. Why are there so many ridiculous and toxic players there? On top of that, Riot does not care a single fucking bit about the East Coast. Who cares if my laning opponent has one-fifth the ping as me - it is fair, right? Wrong. Riot has done little to please a majority of the player base and toxicity is worse than it EVER has been. Whatever - I will just go "uninstall" and "kill myself", just like the "baddie" I am. If Riot can't fix these issues, then why spend a single cent for this gone-to-shit community.
