When are you behind with an assassin champion...you will still build your usual damage items? Some said that is reccomended to go for your normal damage items, so you can have a better chance to kill your opponent and have a comeback. And others said to go for defensive items, so you can tank some damage, be useful for the team and let them carry you. I would like some build example paths(in case you're behind, especially as a mage) along with your opinions.

Some items are really good at both: item 3812 item 3025 item 3072 item 3748 item 3071 item 3091 item 3053 item 3156

Note that Wit's End is specifically for attack-speed based champions. (Of which few are assassins, but for those that are it's excellent.)

And Titanic Hydra is best when you stack more health on top.

I actually highly recommend Iceborn Gauntlet. It helps you stick to the enemy as well, so it has added benefits for your potential comeback.
