If you aren't in bottom lane - Your opinion means little on this.

Good afternoon all,

I just came fom a regular 5v5 and won but I have noticed what I am sure is a very old trend. Opposing bottom laners getting heated about a bad play. What actually cased their duo wipe was a bad call by their jungler. He over extended for an impossible gank, got caught..and bottom lane stepped up to extract him but ended up losing 2 in the process.

Didn't think much of it all game but the post chat was interesting. I played support btw in bottom lane for winning team.

After the game Top lane, mid lane and jungle seemed to have very strong opinions about bottom lane and how it all could have been avoided by more wards.

I didn't say anything, as they lost and were already fuming but I felt for the bottom lane. So here's my 2 cents post game. (I know this team will know who they are..so no names).

Your jungler gave us free dragons all game. He made poor decisions on when to pressure your lane and seemed to care more on "him" receiving kills than turning your lane around. I'm not sure but I know your support was warding in 3 spots where you had the most problems which left Dragon wide open. We always had skuttle vision a ward up. Sometimes even pink. This should have been rebuttled by your jungler but he was too busy disecting your lane to care based on his toxic commentary.

Your top lane had teleport and only used it to return from town after buying or being killed. Never once did he teleport in to contest Dragon which your team did with usually just 3 maybe 4 of you.

Your mid never had or assisted with dragon vision. Instead he stayed focus on farm. Which is good to have high numbers but we killed you, your support and your jungler a few times and our mid came down to asisst, your mid stayed farming. So he had poor priorities considering if he'd had come it would have evened things out.

So what's my point? It's this. I feel for you. being in bottom lane and having your game partially in the hands of another team mate directly is frustrating when they aren't playing up to par. But to have other lanes throwing opinions on your lane..well that's just infuriating. I mean we know they chose mid, top, jungler cause of selfish reasons. They don't want to share a lane. They want to be the star of their own lane. But yet when things go bad they have an opninion? I recommend they just keep it to themselves.

Not everyone who jungles/goes to a solo lane is selfish. Top laners are generally expected to take teleport in order to assist their teammates despite being in the most "remote" lane— they're giving up other summoner spells just to help their team (if they're using the spell properly). Mid laners are potentially just as helpful to top/bottom as the jungler is. The jungler forgoes lane farm/xp in order to help his/her teammates. Playing support/ADC does not make you a special snowflake with extra privileges and/or more weight in arguments. You're willing to sacrifice having a lane to yourself? Well, in return, you get to have the lane with the most potential influence on the outcome of the game (because you have two players, one of which is playing an ADC). There is nothing wrong with being irritated by the bad plays of anyone on your team, but non-constructive criticism is pointless and potentially reportable.
