Many champs have hidden potential because of the way their kit synergizes unintentionally. Sometimes though we see that potential become something amazing where you can design a build on the most unsuspecting champions into a pure unnatural force that actually prevents them from dying 99.9% of the time. It can be an entire game changer seeing a champ who heals/blocks more efficiently than the damage they receive - especially if that champ is someone like Annie. What are your favorite unorthodox tanks?

Tank Akali is basically my main right now but the new season started and people think you are Hitler for not playing meta so I can't really play her. =l

She's a CC machine with strong zoning abilities with several skills that work well for peeling, especially with the insane 45% cdr keystone. She's not as much of a front liner, even when built tanky, but it can catch people off guard in a hurry. Her strong base damage and scalings allow her to make the most out of every drop of AP she can find.

Rengar. Slow and Snare, decent damage to squishies because of Q base damage, and you get even tankier with W as well as healing.

This is more of me trolling but.. Sometimes in normals I'll go tanky Jayce support with item 3022 Often find myself being useful for peels with Knockback and acceleration gates.

I mean, normally i would come up with a totally cool, well argumented and original idea that would totally be based on my personal experience.

....But i pretty much only play Darius Darius so fuck it.

Blitzcrank built for AOE annoyance, disruption, and durability; blitztank. item 1306 item 3068 item 3001 item 3025 item 3174 item 3083 item 2138 However this is more of a top lane only build, as it's extremely easy to steal minions & champion kills from allies if played support XD
