What ever happened to the Poppy update?

I know i'm one of the 10 people who cares about Poppy , but what happened to her update? It was announced that she was getting an update over seven months ago and since this announcement we have had three new champions, three champions with updated visuals, 2 with updated gameplay, one with both and one effects update. I'm also hearing news/ updates about upcoming update.

But TL DR i'm just asking if any rioter/ hacker/ leaker or anyone who knows anything to tell me what's going on with Poppy's update? Any news at all?

They mentioned that the scope of her rework was nearly the level of Sion's--and we all know how long that took so you can infer that they are slowly but surely preparing her as of right now. Naturally they aren't going to have all of their departments and employees stop doing everything to work on her exclusively.

I hate all this BS about " oh its a sion level project so be patient " back in november it read " Alistar touch up, Tristana Rework, Poppy Rework"

it isn't that Poppy's rework is sion sized, Other reworks like the viegar, ashe zilean rework for example are ideas that were a pleasurable experience for them to do because they probably thought how they would do it for months ahead of time.

Poppy's rework is actually " work " they actually have to go oh hey how does she work again and how are people playing her?, I bet there isn't a single thought in any riot's minds as to how they would rework her as they make excuses and pretend to be busy with the cosmetic end of league of legends.

I would be happy if Riot actually brought her name up in a post, or shared some concept art?

to tell you the truth I am extremely worried about updates to poppy, or rather, changes to her, because I LOVE her kit soo much! Love the passive, ult is so unique and fits her story!! and landing her e just feels sooo good. Riot plz take good care of her!

It's still in progress, she's getting a huge update. Worry not Summoner, the Poppy update will arrive in the future.

Poppy is a MAJOR update. She's on the level of Sion , so she will take some time before we see her. Gangplank is getting a gameplay and visual update as well but his won't be anywhere near the level of hers, and the upcoming minor VU for MissFortune
