Suggestion : Being able to change game settings without starting a game

Hi first off, I'm sorrrryyy if a suggestion shouldn't go in "Miscellaneous", I just can't find any "Suggestions" area in the boards categories.

Anyways, my suggestion is as the title says. Why can't we change the game's settings without actually starting up the game (we should be able to do it from within the client).

Why/How this concerns me : Sadly, I don't play ARAM. Because my laptop isn't the best, I can play at 1600x900 resolution with no anti-aliasing, low shadows and very low environment settings (Everything else maximum) . I can get around 30~40fps on Summoners Rift. I can't play ARAM though because in ARAM, every time a "blizzard" (when the towers are getting destroyed) comes I start lagging horribly. I CAN play it if I open up the video settings at the start of the game and change my effects to very low, but this changing requires me to freeze at the very start and wait for it to apply the new settings resulting in me coming late to the fight. Then if I want to go back to Summoner's Rift, I like to play with good effects so, I change the setting back but once again it requires me to freeze while I wait for it to apply the setting.

It would be nice to be able to change these settings while just in the client. I probably would play more ARAM that way but for now It's just too much of a hassle to have to change my settings while in game each time.

I agree that it would be nice; I'm way too lazy to go into a custom match just to switch settings. It would be a QoL thing, but it would be really nice.

Yes.

And again, yes.

Honestly, just play on lowest settings. You will be immensely happier that way, I promise you.
