Anyone mind taking a momennt
To explain to me why merrelo's is better then athens its not a troll question nor me being mad or anything i just wana know why its better

Morello's can be appealing if:
- You want the earlier power spike (cheaper completion cost)
- Don't care about the MR at all (enemy team's mainly physical damage)
- The enemy has significant healing you want to be able to shut down later (e.g. Vlad, Soraka or Swain) and you don't have enough sources of Grevious Wounds on your team (e.g. Ignite or Impure Shots).
- You value AP/CDR significantly more than mana regen.
Athene's by contrast's really attractive if:
- You want a lot of regen over time, both sustained regen in extended cast/poke situations and burst regen mid full on team fight.
- You're up against a threatening enemy with magic damage in lane, so the MR via Chalice is extremely valuable.
- You're a champion that wants the option of pivoting towards a Mikael's depending on how the game goes (a few supports, or champs played in the support position, can function well with either Chalice upgrade).
It's the cheapest source of CDR, and it applies grievous wound, which counters heals. Otherwise, I would almost always go for Athene's.
so a team with no healers athenes would be a better choice?
