Ended up being silver last season, now I really want to go to gold. like really. I got matched with a lot of gold players and some platinums and diamonds on normal games, so I'm sure that I could climb to gold, at least. I'm still provisional atm with 2 wins and 2 lost but i'm really really scared on going another rank. I'm scared that i will get matched with toxic and trolling players, which will always end up a defeat. It gives me an image that ranked games are just a waste of time. And by the time i played my last promotional game, most likely I'll get bronze, again. then if you start another rank there's always this someone searching on people's profile during the load screens and say "LOL GG OUR MIDLANE IS BRONZE"

should I still play ranked?

yes. but you will get shit players. but if you blame them and not look at your own mistakes to correct then you belong with them

Exactly. That's exactly what you do. Make a mental note in what everyone does wrong. Including yourself and chat. Learn. I was Bronze Season 3> Gold Season 4 :D

I forced myself so hard to play ranked because I wanted another Victorious skin, and after about a hundred ranked games I finally got there. I think the biggest mistake people make is to give up, or never truly try.

Provisionals will likely place you equal or less than your previous season's rank. I think the highest tier of players (challengers) were only able to begin the season at Platinum 1.

Provisionals blow. Least my experience of them did.

4 games had a teammate afk, went 3-3 in the others (One had a guy who said "Welcome to provisionals" and trolled). S3 to B3.

Now every other game has some type of BS in it. Had a winning record last season in silver, slowly climbing, the experience this season in Bronze has slowly sapped my will to play. (and spend money)

Here's something you should do: don't play ranked. It kinda gives you a mark of how you are and it's not a good sign. People will laugh at you if you're bronze, or depend on you if you're silver and up. And if they depend on you and you can't do anything, then you'll get a bad image anyways. I stopped playing ranked and decided to be unranked. I was tricked into playing ranked and we lost. I don't want that on my record ever.
