Hecarim Worth Buying?
Hecarim's on sale right now and my friends say he's really fun/strong champion, but I don't really know whether he's worth buying or not. What's your opinion?

I bought Hecarim as my first dedicated jungler and absolutely loved playing him. I actually find it REALLY hard to convince myself to buy any other junglers because I can't see myself picking anyone over Hecarim (I bought J4 strictly with the idea of playing him top, then what do you know Hecarim goes and gets a 53% win rate top and becomes an amazing pick there too).
If you think you like the play style, go for it! I first played him on a free rotation (the very first time I played jungle, always avoided it and said I couldn't play it when all the other roles got called too fast, then one team made me play jungle and told me to pick him and it was amazing). If you haven't tried playing him, maybe watch a view videos and see if you like the play style. He's pretty unique so it's hard to just say whether you'll like him or not based on anything else.
His ult is PHENOMENAL and his kit is pretty good, he lacks CC but he is more of a bruiser than a tank (took me longer than I care to admit to get that...)
