Recently Played New Client?

I'm sort of confused as to why I keep seeing people claim that the new client doesn't have a Recently Played List when its clearly right there in the Add Friend tab under sent friend requests. Does anyone explore anything anymore or are they just complaining out of convenience because its the thing that anyone born after 1989 seems to be complacent in doing lol
