How Do Junglers Deal With Toxic Players?

I've noticed that most of the anger in games is focused towards the jungler. Honestly, I don't think I could ever main jungle simply because of that. If you can't carry all three lanes, everyone yells at you. (and if you do carry, no one says thanks.)

In my most recent game, I got counter jungled at level 2. I pinged over and over but neither mid nor top would come - I got the other jungler very low but I died in the end. This obviously put me behind. Then top proceeded to feed and yelled at me for not helping her. Mid got camped and yelled at me for not camping as well. I got bot first blood and she snowballed and did well, but yelled at me for not carrying top and mid. I ended like 7/5/11 but we still lost and everyone still blamed it on me.

How do junglers deal with all the negativity? I tried be as positive as possible but it just wears you down. I explained why I was behind and they just mocked me and kept raging.

Personally, I main adc and sup, and I NEVER blame the jungler. If I'm getting camped by the enemy jungler, I play safe. If I'm losing lane all on my own, I apologize and play safe as well. Why do people think yelling at you is going to help?

So frustrated with League I think I just might quit. I love the game; I hate the negative players.

I just ignore (actually ignoring, not the in game ignore feature) them and do what I believe will win the game for the team.

I honestly have no idea how I deal with it as a jungle main. "I just...do things" -The Joker

It's frustrating, for sure. So thank you for not taking it out on us poor junglers. :P

It's just the nature of the role, unfortunately. Because the point is to try to gank and help people win their lanes, clearly when the lane is lost it's the jungler's fault. It can't be because they made risky plays or had terrible vision control. Human nature to blame others, and I guess we make an easy target. ><

I recently played a game as Rammus where both mid and bot were constantly complaining and yelling at me. How my ganks were always late, and how I was never there when they needed help. Meanwhile, they had both their lanes shoved so hard that I /couldn't/ gank, and then after they would inevitably get killed attempting to tower-dive the enemy, they would get angry at me.

I practically spent the entire match 2-3 levels behind everyone else and barely any items because all I could do was run nonstop from one lane to the next because they all demanded my attention RIGHT NOW.

But.

Jungling is immensely gratifying when people are appreciative. :)

Thanks, at least I'm not the only one that deals with this. I have a new respect for jungle mains. I think I will just have to be more liberal with the ignore feature :( I wish everyone could just learn that being positive is SO much better for the team than negativity.
