Anyone else having bad ping issues the past few days?

I seems like the past few days my ping has been all over the place. I normally sit around 36 but the past few days its been shooting up to over 100 and staying there and often it goes over 1000 for a good 30 seconds. Someone I watch regularly had one game today where his ping shot up to 164 and stayed there the rest of the game. Anyone else having ping issues?
