I understand that I meant free in the sense that you download apps which gives you credits that you can spend on rp.

Don't trust them. Best way to get RP is to purchase it, or to win an RP giveaway that some League of Legends YouTubers do occasionally.

Technically most of them are scams but a 'scarce few' are legit services that would simply require you to put alot of time into playing 'other games'(Since survey offers are usually the ones most likely a 3rd party scam to the offer site too), though granted you'd be better off using a alternate email for safety reasons. I would suggest gamekit in that regard which uses the simple point redeem system and then gifts you your order which is normally just skins within 15 days, granted all the RP offers tend to be all sold out because of how popular they are(which i only manage to get 1 1350~ RP order within the full year i've used their services).

I used to do similar point services when nexon.net used to offer NX(its own game cash) and one of the older companies that used to own the game Grand Chase by doing services and play X game so i atleast have plenty of experience on knowing the good ones from the bad ones.

If you want some extra details on it then hit me up with a friend request on the NA server. Only gripe i had thru it was the long wait times while earning the points in the 'quests' and delivery of the actual reward

Never the less its ultimately your choice between spending alot of time(similar to working a job) to earn the credits to have someone else pay for a skin for you or use your own money to directly buy the skin. It took me alot of time to even find something that did not perform anything illegal or result in my account being hacked or compromised, i was just lucky that i ended up running into the site while on youtube.

It's from that place where they also give out free viruses, keyloggers, malwares, trojans etc etc, or they will just waste you a shit ton of time on stupid surveys and then tell you that there is no free RP (this latter one is at least better than the previously mentioned, since you only lose time from this).

At most, there are 3 ways to get safe RPs:

Youtubers and streamers do "giveaways" where they purchase and throw RP away to random viewers as a PR move to attract new and maintain old audiences. You can set up tents around some of them and wait for your chances.
You can get like an upward to at most 10 to 20 or so free RP from Riot, it's given out to fill in the negligible margins that many people could have where they have say, 970RP and wants 5 more to purchase a skin but don't want to waste money on extra RP packages for example. Each account is only eligible for this once.
Purchase them yourself.

If OP means sites that let you cash in points for gift cards, I can suggest multiple. All i've used and work. All require making an account.

Bing Rewards - easiest, you simply do searches daily up to a certain capped total. Both used in a browser and mobile. Use amazon gift cards to buy League gift cards. (Edit - Reading over about new accounts, they might not offer Amazon cards anymore, just for older accounts. So keep in mind)

Swagbucks - Depending on if you have any mobile devices, they have videos you can watch to earn credits. The site itself has multiple types of activities, but again, the videos are the easiest. Amazon/Best Buy gift cards for buying League cards.

Gifthulk - Like Swagbucks, minus the mobile apps. Amazon/Best Buy gift cards for buying League cards.

Perk Rewards - Requires a mobile device to watch videos for credit. Amazon/Best Buy gift cards for buying League cards.

InstaCG - Like Gifthulk, no apps. Amazon/Best Buy gift cards for buying League cards or you can simply get a League gift card itself.

Mind you that all of these are very grindy. You earn very little a day, but it adds up. Bing Rewards is best for those that just want a quick task. You do have to be careful and not pick all offers. I'd avoid the ones requiring an email unless you feel like creating a junk mail email, which some do.
