Verbal Abuse Needs To Have Harsher Punishments

I'm so sick of literally every game I play being either full of feeders or Trundle , but the absolute worst are the people who are extremely verbally abusive. I was harassed my last entire game as JarvanIV by whichever lane i was presently not in. If I was mid, bot would blame me for their getting tower dived when I needed to save our Gragas . If I was top helping Nasus , then Gragas would throw a fit about why he wasn't getting any ganks. From that, it devolved to pretty much every lane asking for ganks all the time to being verbally abused, insulted, called a "%%%" several times (seriously, if you're calling people %%%s, you should be auto-warned the same way you get auto-warned for idleness), and then blamed for pretty much every time anyone was killed ever. The insane levels of toxicity in League makes it super discouraging to play at all. Especially since most of what I play is ranked, and as soon as a flame war begins, the game is basically lost unless something improves. We need to have stronger penalties for verbal abuse and toxicity at all levels of play. Verbally abusive and toxic players abuse teammates in more than one game. Just look at any case on the Tribunal. You barely ever see someone being verbally abusive in just one game; it's on average, anywhere from 4-7 games with about 10-12 reports.

AFKing has strong penalties due to AutoBuster. Verbal abuse destroys games just as easily. I've reviewed just over 20 cases in the Tribunal and most people get off with either warnings or a 1-day time ban and restricted chat privileges, which, by the way, reduce your chances of winning anyways. So we need to come together as a community or make sure the people who are being verbally abusive face harsher, longer punishments.

The punishment scales with the number of times they are punished for that behavior. So the more frequently they do it the faster they will end up receiving a permanent ban.
