why do people care so much about "verbal abuse"

I dont think ive ever reported a player for verbal abuse in my life i use the intentionally feeding an assisting the enemy team ones strictly and heres why. Do words hurt you? hmmm no. Can words ruin my game? no.( unless its im gonna feed then sure) is there a button where i wont see what another player types? yes. can people speak in this game? no. So why is this much more of a bigger deal and have more bans on it than kids say intentionally feeding/ not trying to win the game and messing around. i cant mute that i cant make them play the game. i personally think all verbal abuse report is,is a cry baby button catered to the softness that america has. Everyone trys to act all tough but you are all first to click report because you are butthurt.

tldr verbal abuse report is the butthurt button talking effects nothing and you can do something about it feeders/players that ruin games you cannot

Do you need a reward to be nice or something? People play games for enjoyment; they don't come on here to be harassed by people like you, and shouldn't have to put up with it. If you simply refuse to observe good sportsmanship, you shouldn't be playing games with strangers.

i play games to win i play ranked ive played every game that way and nobody has had a problem with it before why should they now theres also a mute button if you cant figure out how to use it you got bigger problems

you dont even understand english im done talking to your 13 year old ass lmao ive never had a problem with anything in fact ive been on pro cod teams and other games this game is the onlly game where kids like you are brainwashed and cry like the little children you are now what should be done is the companys should crack down on kids like you playing video games till your old enough like 16-18 thats the problem

That's probably because the jerks that they massively outnumber keep them from playing.

Riot would rather keep the larger group - which makes sense, as their entire business model is premised on them having a huge number of players.

I personally feel that if someone is just being a dick to others they don't deserve to play. I don't really give a shit about what they say. Frequently I even turn it into a game and just mess with them. Still, there is no reason to just let people be dicks.

well i dont think players that go 1-10 in a game should deserve to play theres no reason for players to ruin my games because they dont know how to play (see what i did there) competitveness is in every game and you will get told what you are doing wrong by people in any game if you are losing them said game

Anyone can have a bad game. I am absolutely certain you have had a game where you went 1-10 or something comparable at least a couple times. Does that mean you shouldn't be allowed to play?

Think of it this way. If you walk onto a basket ball court and start a game with some random people, then proceed to call one player on your team a worthless piece of garbage for playing badly people won't like you. Just because you don't see someones face doesn't make them less human.
