About Aatrox Posts and Comments.

In regards to the few Aatrox posts whining for buffs: Aatrox will get a buff when he gets buffed. Meddler said that the 'EARLIEST' that Aatrox will be buffed in is 6.24, this does not mean however that it is guaranteed to happen during this specific patch. So please calm down and wait patiently because if you've been legit waiting like me all this time, you can wait just a little longer. Also, stop trying to shove in unseasonable buffs and expect that Riot will go along with whatever you're saying. For better or for worse, let the company decide on their own vision for the Aatrox buffs. I'm sure they have 'some' data on areas to improve upon for Aatrox. It's fine to give them suggestions but just do not hold them accountable for every single suggestion that doesn't make it on their change list and get mad at them for abandoning certain ideas. Aatrox is going to get even more changes along the line so expect more during his rework.

In regards to some* Aatrox mains on the boards that feel entitlement for playing Aatrox: Here's a newsflash, even if you've stuck with him for so long and have seen him going down in the gutter repeatedly it does not mean that Riot should just stop everything else they're doing and immediately put Aatrox on the priority list. We all know why he's not getting the VIP treatment - he's unpopular, has a very aged kit that needs to be looked at during his rework, is mostly unfun to play or play against and isn't very relevant to the game. Let's just honest here, the people who actually play Aatrox are in the absolute minority and as such, we're not going to get much screen time. That's just the reality of playing an unpopular champion with an aging kit.

And finally, in regards to those incredibly ignorant comments about Aatrox's state of being 'op': Please just stop. I'm pretty sure every Aatrox meme is about him being forgotten and weak, so why is it that you still believe he is somehow overpowered? Aatrox has not been performing well in a very, VERY long time. If you've payed attention to his champion data, he is sometimes played so little that there is not enough sufficient data to display. The problem lies in not the fact that he got nerfed, I'm sure that even if he was at his release state right now he would still be on a heavy decline in terms of win rate and play rate. It's the very kit itself that despite strange belief, is incredibly weak. For a champion to typically be 'OP', especially one of melee range, they are required to be: either hard to kill or incredibly powerful, be able to stick to you and escape and also have 'extras' in their kit to further suppress their opponents. Aatrox, whilst snowbally is neither of those 3 categories. He does significantly less damage than true carries like Tryndamere, Yi or Yasuo, is not sticky enough like Ekko, Olaf or Trundle and is a lot more vulnerable than Darius, Fiora or Illaoi. He's in a weird spot of being a legitimate jack of all trades but master of none. He just doesn't do anything well enough to merit him being 'OP'. Even his signature sustain is weaker to many other melee champions who have more reliable healing mechanics such as Fiora, Tryndamere or Xin Zhao. So please if anything, accept that Aatrox is actually a weak champion and stop regurgitating garbage that is a false representation of the champion's current state of being.
