when you MUTE someone, they should be MUTED in end-game lobby too

Please carry over the MUTE from in-game to the end game lobby too. End game lobby is where a lot of toxic people enjoy verbally harassing others.

Benefits: • Allows people to not see trash talk from the verbally abusive players. • Prevents players from quitting/uninstalling League due to verbally abusive players in the community.

Easy to Implement: • Carry over the mute from in-game to the end-game lobby. • Or, reinstate the blocking feature where if you mute, then it blocks as well.

Thank you.

I just "Skip waiting for end-game stats" when I know some toxic asshole is going to start typing. They'd have to add a mute/unmute button next to the Honor/Report buttons as well, but I think carrying over the mute to the end-game lobby is a good idea.

Edit: I realized that often you want to report those kinds of toxic people that you would mute, so because of the report system you have to wait for the end-game stat screen if you want to report.

I agree i mute these guys all match only to get pissed off post game when the onslaught begins. Please fix this riot. Mute should never end mute is mute not mute until they get a chance to be a douche one more time.

Yes, totally agree, upvoted.

I did exactly this for all of Season 2 and 3, i don't know why they changed it.

The way it originally worked it that people who were muted in-game showed up as muted in post-game lobby. Since that is the only way to mark somebody in-game, I always used this feature to remind me who needed to get reported.

Riot really needs to provide a method of attaching notes to an account that isn't on your friends list. That feature would be even better if it was automatically populated with your match history together.

Yes please!

Must be a bug, because when you mute someone they're added to your ignore list.

I agree with you 100%. I was sad when this feature disappeared with recent patches.

One minor nit (to defend the software engineers a bit) - when you say, "Easy to implement" - it may be not be the case. Even "easy" features are not always as easy as they may seem. Unless you know their code base and infrastructure, I don't think that can be inferred by something that appears trivial from your perspective.

i agree because in end game chat people are still toxic

I could of swore that it was already in effect. I've never had this problem of muting someone and being able to read what they say in post game chat. Whenever I must someone they are muted until I unmute them in game or after post game chat since they removed the option to change it in post game. Not sure if you have a bug or something or maybe I do, but it already does what you ask for me.

This community is so unbelievably toxic.

I'm to the point where I just mute everyone that's not my friend before minions even spawn. Then the community doesn't seem worse than CoD and Garry's Mod combined.

the mute button in game used to add people to you block list, i still have NO idea why they changed that

I am glad someone already suggested this. I enjoy playing League, but there are so many toxic players. I mute all opposing players, and sometimes my own teammates if they're toxic as well. I enjoy looking at the stats in the end game lobby, but hate that I'm forced to listen to all the negativity and disrespect just so I can review the game. Please please Riot, please carry over the mute. It would really make this game more pleasant :) Thank you!
