Why we need merit based LP loss

I feel you. Its a team game which means that you win and lose as a team, but seriously riot. When someone feeds hard as hell I would think it's fair that they lose more ip then a teammate who clearly performed better.

Yea it's rough but it happens. I'm ok with losses now & im better at trying to keep the peace in chat (you win more often if you can avoid making people tilt more with blaming) but sometimes there's really nothing you can do about loss (our bot lane only conceded a single death, me ; ;, in that feed fest)
