Please do not remake GD

Do not remake GD... or at least do not allow new topics be made in it. The new boards are great at making people post in the proper places... making GD a board defeats the purpose of the other boards entirely. Miscellaneous is good enough. if you feel the need to port over the posts from GD put them there but please please please do not perpetuate the laziness that is GD anymore. A catch all board is horrible...

Edit: since it is clear that GD is going to remain. I plead it be removed from the boards drop down as a quick link. Help the boards do what they were built to do and let those who refuse to change stay in their so called "community" instead of having everything just become a dump in GD all over again.

I actually agree with this pretty heavily. I'm okay with GD existing. But one of the biggest issues with the old forums, at least in my mind, is that there's almost no point to posting in the non-GD sections. I'd love to see the moderation team actually actively move topics to the right boards. And on top of that, Rioters should actually spread their participation into the other sections as well. Perhaps even to the point of either only responding to threads if they are in the proper section, or moving them to the right place before responding.

People usually use GD to discuss things encompassed by multiple boards. What if someone wants to talk about the state of Rammus on Dominion based on a lore issue?

GD is a community more than anything else. People know eachother, recognize eachother. It's not just "lol lazy board post everything", it's a board where a specific community of people talk about league in the way they see fit. That's why they remade it.
