Level 6 or 7

So I am going to start off by saying I main support with thresh. I am level 6 with him currently. Today I had played some games with him and two games that I had played I was awarded both with S- but was not given a token either times. For level 7 do you need to get S+ or is there only a small percent chance that I would receive a token or what?? I'm confused about it. Let me know if you have any idea. Thank you

If you are eligible for Hextech loot, have the appropriate Mastery level (already 5 or 6), and are in the proper mode (Normal/Ranked SR) you are guaranteed to get a token for the right grade (S-/S/S+ for 6, S/S+ for 7).

Rank 6 is S-/S/S+ to get tokens. Rank 7 is S/S+ to get tokens.
