Riot Figures

I know it's been discussed a bit on other threads but I thought with the new figure fest coming up it was worth revisiting. Does riot have a plan for making more figures of more champs? Obviously it takes some work to make and develop each but still can we at least get like a general idea or hint at some hopefully upcoming champs, and even though he isn't the most popular I'd buy a Varus figure three times over.
