Why can't we watch ranked from the home screen anymore?

I haven't played league in a while and i was wondering why they removed the ability to watch the live high level ranked matches on the home screen? All i see are ARAM matches now. Is this a new thing? Temporary? I really enjoyed watching the live high league ranked matches to see how they played and built different champs and just for entertainment.
