Why Do People Buy More Than 2 Skins Per Champ?

Some people buy all the skins for 1 champ and only use 1 mostly. I don't see how it's logical to buy more than you will use, I am an Amumu main and I own Little Knight, Sad robot and Surprise party Amumu, I haven't bought any of these skins myself 2 of them were from friends and 1 one from riot. I play 75% Surprise party and 15% sad robot whenever I ever end up in the dilemma of having 2 skins for a champ I just play the better looking one nearly always.

Can anyone explain to me why people would spend so much to buy things they won't ever use o.0

Some people like to change things up more often that you do.

because why not? i mean i own almost every skin for shaco(missing wild card) and i usually only use workshop or nutcracko. its just about the freedom of being able to pick whatever i feel like playing.

I have a problem... it's a skin addiction... I need all the Teemo skins... except the bunny one... hate that skin.

Because I need every skin for every void creature of course. #IrresponsibleWithMyMoney

A more common reason than dedication to a champ group or skin line (like all my Battlecast skins) is something like having a skin for a champ, but then a new skin comes out for that champ that you like more.

Edit: Apparently hashtags turn text on these forums into upsized bold...

I swap between every Nami skin each game, though I favor some more than others.

For other champions, sometimes I might have more than one because a new release is better than what I had (such as SG Lux being my favorite over the Steel Legion I had). Or I got extras as a mystery gift, which would probably be the usual case.

Now if someone buys a skin intentionally, knowing they won't use it anyway, idk. Too much money.

some times interesting skins come out at a later time that people feel more akin to. also when a skin becomes rare as in put in the vault that gives you bragging rights

Some people have too much money.

Because it's great to have a disposable income.
