Riot's "We know better than you" mentality still going strong

I am legitimately done with this game now. You claim to care about the player, and to care about delivering quality content, but all you do is ignore the feedback you're given and make farfetched conclusions based off some half-assed data.

Who was ever asked if Ranked 5s should be removed? Who ever thought that dynamic was a good replacement? WHO THE HELL THOUGHT REMOVING RANKED REWARDS FOR SOLO QUEUE WAS A GOOD IDEA?!

Riot, all you're doing is alienating more players with every massive overhaul of the system. Maybe you all need a reality check. Maybe you need to remember that at one point you were a virtually unknown indie developer running a game on a tiny budget and working hard to keep people happy and still deliver quality content. Now that you're some big shots with an internationally renowned moba you've gotten complacent and feel invincible.

I have heard from so many people that League is dying. And it's not the lack of new skins (god knows we get enough of those), or new champions (You seem to like to chain releases together now), or even BALANCE ISSUES. The single thing killing this game is your attitude. Your "f--k the player, we want more money!" attitude. Because that's exactly what this is. You want to make all these elaborate new things, then ignore player feedback and take away what we know and love. Then, just to make sure nobody goes, you put out a new champion or two and some new skins that barely even resemble that detailed splash art you put out.

And we, the players, are to blame for that. Because no matter how pissed off we get over what you've done, we'll still drop 10, 20, 50 dollars to buy the new content you've released. Even though we may HATE how team builder is gone, we've got Jhin and a bunch of skin sales! The problem is, the players are unwilling to do what is necessary to make a change happen, which is to stop throwing money at their screen every time riot drops a new skin. If ten thousand people stopped spending money on a game that millions play, that's a significant drop. Not much in the grand scheme of things, but it's something. How about a hundred thousand? A million? Several million? The players need to send Riot Games a wakeup call and let them know that WE have the power. We control their entire existence. Every time you click that "Purchase Riot Points" button you are basically bending over and spreading them for Riot's "We know better" mentality.

I love this game, I really do. But something has to change with the company's attitude, or the game I love will self destruct into a shameless cash-grab with no soul. Please, Riot, stop and think about what the players actually want for once.
