I don't know why, maybe it was Imagine Dragons, maybe it was SSW against SSB, but I swear last year's LCS was way cooler than this year. Or maybe it was the fact that SKT basically had a clean sweep? Or that it was 100% obvious who would win this year. But Riot has to put more attention into every year's LCS, not more attention to one then less the other.

It was much better since there wasn't a clear cut favorite like this year.
LCS was so boring. RIot tweaking the game has led to pros choosing the most boring champions: Ryze, mordekaiser, gragas, rumble, maokai. Everyone gasps when someone picks a lee sin or a riven. there is something wrong with this.
Well its not like Riot can do anything about who the best teams are. How would you have changed the way SKT ran the tournament, should everyone past groups just been given a two game handicap against them?
Personally I think location was a big part in why it seemed the event was lack luster. The EU crowds were just so lame, they had no energy at all.
Also Riot did let down with the no orchestra performance or live performance like seasons past.
