Riot is a bad company

This "discussion" will be about how bad of a company Riot "games" really is. Lettttts get roightttttt into the newwwwwwwwwwwws!

First of all, I'm pretty sure Riot has just abandoned the Tribunal at this point. I mean, I got permabanned (which i will go into more depth about later) and I can't even look at the reasons why because the Tribunal has been "down for maintenance" for the past several years. http://tribunal.na.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/maintenance.html

Riot releases a bunch of things and then completely forgets or abandons the idea of them. Take a look at Yorick. He has been unplayed ever since he was released (in 2012 i think) and it took them 4 fucking years to rework him. Also, I want to talk about the honor system. It literally has no impact besides giving people a cool ribbon in the load in page. And it makes you look like a good person when you make your friends honor you after every game.

Next I want to talk about the balance team. I'm sure a lot of you saw this coming. There are so many champions in league of legends that have a VERY unfair mechanic, which is part of the reason why league isn't that fun anymore. Point and click stuns, one shots, 2.5 second CC abilities, bullshit lifesteal. I was going to list every bullshit part about this game but then I realized it would take me more than an hour. Seriously. I hope Riot hires people that actually do something good for the game.

Trust me, I used to LOVE league. I played it every day and although I was toxic, it was still my favorite game. Until I got banned for, no joke, callimg soneone salty. He was being WAY more toxic than me and yet for some reason I got banned and he didn't. Anyways, playing solo q is just boring as hell since most of the time your team is going to flame you (because that's how the league community works). When you're playing with a friend, at least you have someone to defend you. And it makes league actually fun. The only reason I was ever toxic was in self defense. I never flamed people just for the hell of it, and I never flamed people because they fed or anything like that, because I, unlike Riot, understand that people have bad games.

Overall, Riot is just in it for the money. They don't give a shit about the community they just take people's money and then ban them. And I told Riot about people flaming me (after I got banned) and I was just being self defending but they didn't do shit about it. Here's a direct quote from them: "Although this marks the end of the line, we’re confident that with some reflection you will be able to avoid this kind of situation with whatever new games you decide to play." I don't flame people in other games, because the community is actually good in the games I play. Which is why I stay away from games like COD and CS:GO. And by "flame", I mean DEFEND MYSELF.

Anyways, thanks for reading. And Riot, if you see this, can you actually fix your game please. I'm not going to play it anymore (sure I could just make a different account but I'm not going to because I'm done with Riot's shit). As I said, I'm not playing it anymore but if you want to keep it popular then fix your company and fix your game. I never thought I'd say this, but I might actually consider DotA. I mean hey, at least the company that made it is actually good. And not lying about having more than one game. Well, thanks for reading. I hope you guys have a change in opinion about the company we know and don't love.

I wouldn't say it's abandoned, per se. They have switched focus to the Client Update, so there's nobody available to work on it. The Instant Feedback System works so it's not very necessity atm. If you didn't get any information on your punishment you can submit a Support Ticket.

And it makes you look like a good person when you make your friends honor you after every game.

Repeated honors from the same person have reduced weight, so you don't get much from that, and abusing the Honor system is a punishable offense.

That said, once the LCU is complete and they can focus on other projects we might see some work on both the Honor Initiative and a new Tribunal.

Well, they are a business so money if a primary goal. I disagree that they don't give a shit about the community, though. I have been seeing the top dogs on the boards a lot lately, and they even have dedicated Riot activity on the Help & Support board. They listen to feedback, but you can't expect them to just do everything the community demands; they've got a game to run, and they have the experience to do it where the community doesn't (mother knows best).

They don't "just take people's money and then ban them", the ban is for a reason. Players that have little or no regard for the people around them make the game worse and drive other people off. Riot hands punishment out in tiers of increasing severity, giving them an opportunity to reform their behavior. If they show they clearly have no intention of following the rules or their behavior is so severe, Riot is better off getting rid of them entirely than letting them poison the community further.

you didnt have to spend any money at all to play league. its a free game. in their terms and agreement you accept it states items bought in game isnt owned it is licensed rights to use the items. such as you dont own the skins for the champs riot does you pay to use them in their game.

therefore you lease them as long as you dont violate the terms set forth by riot. one is not to be a toxic assclown. the fact that you have been perma ban means they care about the community because they got rid of you. you didnt get perma ban for saying "salty" you got banned for a list of infractions its just that was the last one. so if no one would $ any money in the game then RIOT wouldnt make any $ but people chose to. they dont have to. you

bitch about yorick not being reworked for so long but how many other champs did they rework or create as new champs? how much did they spend time and effort and money to create the new updated summoners rift to provide a better visual game for THE PLAYERS. not everything can be done at once.

how are you suppose to make 64 million whinny crying babies like you happy? every one bitches about something different. any changes they do make good or bad or indifferent they take alot of time and thought into it. no company is perfect all makes mistakes. but neverless they created a free game for you to play and you ruined gaming experience for others by being toxic.

plz do the community a favor and just uninstall and never create another account again. riot and league of legends will be better for it.
