Whenever you are grinding to 30 on a secondary account... And you encounter actually beginners.

It seems desperate to take advantage of them to get a 20/0 game. The reason that I brought this up, is because I have had teams and had enemy teams that will single-out the beginner and all grab mejais or whatever and just stack it off of them. Actually getting to the point where they can't even leave base without the whole team dog-piling on them. I most of the time just play support, never really caring about wards or anything, and if I encounter a new player I give them advice and make the game fun by at least giving them a chance. It sucks to see people that are just starting the game that are getting reported by teammates for not being at the 1000 games won level that the rest of the team is or not being able to have one game with a better than a 0/10 k/d. Makes me feel bad to look back on me starting back in beta and having everyone be awful at the game and see new players taken advantage of to the point where they want to quit and barely have fun because they know there is no mercy from good players.

I don't know, just an opinion. Just an attempt on appeasing some toxicity that is actually making new players quit the game. Take it easy, it's normals, have fun.. screw around. Might as well make the leveling fun since you will need to play ~350 games to get there.

I usually just play nasus when I'm smurfing they dont exactly know how to prevent nasus from getting like 500 stacks at 20 minutes... on the flip side, i usually ignore the new players :O well that is till they uuh run up to me and interrupt my farming, then I smack them with my pimp cane will kindly ask them to step aside

Sigh... So true. So much abuse. I wonder if league is mentally damaging. Sometimes after a really toxic ga_me_, I question whether or not I even exist anymore.

"So, a lot of people ask me how much RP I receive as gifts on an average day. Short answer is none, because I don't consider them gifts. Long answer is more than you would probably imagine. O f course, I am always looking for ways to give back and my own philanthropy is legendary now. I f it were considered some sort o f exploitation, Riot would already have taken action. What I offer may not be directly tangible but I think that its value speaks for itself. –So the complainers boil* down to two kinds: those who are jealous o f my personal success; those who are jealous o f my "customers'" perceived advantage. I realize a lot o f you may be against performance enhancers but I can assure you that this is al**l on the level. Ever heard that saying, "get on my level bro"? Wel**l, babe, this is a whole other level completely. Simply put, it can't be beaten. I f there was any doubt in my mind to begin with, it's been long put to peace. I only ask the same o f you. Just let it go. there is no poin~~~~t in fight~~~~ing the inevitable. Who are you to question my intentions anyway? I f we could all* find this kind o f peace, the world would be a far bet~~~~ter place, I assure you. That's the sweet clarity of hindsight. My only regret is that I couldn't find time to do more to help those that came to rely on me. Live every day to its fullest and realize that you don't need material payment when every action is its own reward; that's what I can offer. If you can't do that then at least pay me the decency to mind your own business and leave me to manage mine. Thank you for your efforts but they are in vain. Some things you can never change. Leave them in the past."

The new player experience is freakin' awful man. My mate just started playing so I made a fresh account to level with him. MAN. In 5 games you will find maybe 35 smurfs. I would for sure quit if I was starting up today. I duo lane with him to make it easier, but its really tough.

I am going through this now. I am at level 22, been playing near a month, and it gets to the point where I don't even want to try new champs I buy in pvp. I understand you play them several times in bots first to get some mechanics and builds down. But one bad game with a new champ and people will just tear you apart. It's very disheartening... Makes me dread getting to level 30 when almost everyone is the equivalent of the smurf accounts that tear me apart.

I literally played nothing but bots until level 30, and I ended up Silver 2 after my first ten provisionals.

I'm surprised any new people make it to 30. The amount of bs is simply staggering, pretty much every game there is someone afk from the start who never comes back or someone who afk's mid way through the game. That and the raging and fighting over what spot to take results in triple bots or double mids so often that it really gets discouraging to even think about queuing up for another game

Doesn't matter if they are new or not, they will become toxic no matter what eventually and if they quit before that happens then imo they saved their self time, money & insanity.

I honestly don't know why people think it's OK to report someone for feeding. There's a reason that the reason for reporting says "intentionally feeding."

I still don't know why people have secondary accounts. You seem like part of the problem to me. If you have seen Interview with a Vampire you know that you are Brad Pitt while your other teammates are Tom Cruis. They accept their nature while you deny yours. You are already smurfing, feast. You son of beech!

I quit League a long time ago (around level 10)because I sucked too much and everyone on my team was mad at me... only recently did I find it out it was because there were a ton of smurfs... :/

Gingivits4/5/2015, 6:58:28 PM1 votes

I feel really bad when I am playing with somebody that I just got into league and end up going against an Annie who doesn't know how to build items. I try telling them things to help in all chat and hope that they aren't feeling too discouraged about it.

Verxint4/5/2015, 7:35:29 PM1 votes

I'm willing to bet the report weight of most smurfs is pitiful.

WutsKraken4/5/2015, 11:45:49 PM1 votes

It's a mixed bag for me =/

When I was first learning jungling at lvl 25-ish I was relentlessly counterjungled by a smurf (Enemy was a pre-made of 5 smurfs and my own team had a premade of 3). At the time I wasn't aware Lee Sin could easily rek a Nautilus early on (Lee Sin before his nerfs and Nautilus before his buffs) because "I'm a giant dude with an Anchor, surely I can fight back vs another jungler right?" and my entire team flamed me like "omg why the hell are you trying to fight Lee you idiot" or "omg why don't you ward "x" position.

But then when on my main and I run into someone who's duoing with a higher level player and I see they're clueless and try to help, they just get mad

Getting to level 22 on almost entirely coop vs. bot games... I know what you mean.

Or... OR

You could try -not- making a second account.

I DO agree that the system of having you play numerous amounts of BOT games as well as low ranked games with very restrictive settings before you can play with others to be very irritating....as it often does not teach these imbeciles how to play. They'll probably fix it.

And by definition if other "good" players are treating new players that way, they by logic: are NOT good players. Simple.

The more you win, the less you need to play.

The more you lose, the more you need to play.

You get more IP and exp for a win.
