As i near gold

i wonder if im good enough to be in gold and doubt myself and get kinda nervous im starting to play games with gold V people and i win but i feel like once i get into gold im not ganna do so good is gold a lot different then sliver? im current sliver2 im not sure if im getting better or just playing against people who arent as good (not saying im godlike or anything cocky :P)

There's spike in player quality once you hit s1 iirc. That should give you a taste of what's coming.
